About Us
Metropole Petroleum (Metropole), is a privately-owned Nigerian energy company that engages in the exploration, development and production of hydrocarbon resources. Our affiliate company, Metropole Petroleum & Gas Ltd was awarded 27.67% participating interest in Edi field (PPL 230) in June 2022 and later awarded an additional 65.01% in October 2023.
We comprise of a 40-man team spanning disciplines in Subsurface, Petroleum, Drilling and Facilities Engineering; Petroleum product marketing, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Finance, Legal and Human Resources to deliver on our numerous operations.
We also have a team of consultants and subject matter experts (SMEs) on relevant disciplines.
Metropole boasts of its strong relationship with its partners, regulatory authorities, its host communities, and all other relevant stakeholders which enable us carry out our operations in a responsible and sustainable way.
